When Time Stood Still: Irresistable Sweetness {San Jacinto Newborn Photographer}

Little Miss Kendall was just 11 days old when we met at her beautiful home to capture her tiny newborn features.  Her Mommy and Daddy are so proud of this bundle of sweetness;

love for her just seems to radiate right out of them.

There’s nothing like being held by Mommy and Daddy.  It’s amazing to me how babies relax in their parents’ arms.

Okay, see what I mean about the irresistable sweetness?

This is one of Mommy and Daddy’s favorite outfits for K – we thought she looked so cute, like a little beach girl from the 1920′s :) .

Kendall was so cuddly, all curled up, sticking her little fingers and thumb in her mouth, hand to her face… drifting off to sleepyland.

Her room was the sweetest cherry blossom pink, the room Mommy wished she would’ve had growing up.  (I think any girl would love it!)

That’s Kendall, tiny little thing, sleeping there on the closet shelf.

Thank you so very much, Colin and Breanna, for the opportunity to meet you and capture memories with your sweet little girl.  She will grow and change so fast – you’re going to LOVE watching it all transpire before your very eyes!  Cherish this time, and know you’ll be blessed even more by her life in the months and years to come.

When Time Stood Still: A Fun Fall Color Beauty {Hemet Senior Pictures}

I’m back!!  After a long maternity break (and a move into our new home the same weekend our Ellie was born), I am now officially back to work part-time again.  I’ve treasured the focused family time I was given, and I’m also excited to resume creating with my wonderfully patient clients.

On Monday I had the pleasure of creating with Paige, a sweet high school senior friend of mine (who also happens to be gorgeous!).  Our morning started out foggy but then blossomed to include a gorgeous set of fallish tones… It really was a perfect day for an adventurous shoot, so we went for it.

Our first location was a beautiful canyon that’s normally dry, but due to our recent heavy rainfall, there was a stream running through it.  We hiked just a bit and found some beautiful light.

Paige has a God-given sparkle to her eyes; it just draws you in.

Our next location was also normally dry, but there was plenty of water in the riverbed – just the right amount to sink my boots down into the muddy sand up to my ankles, lol.  The light here was also perfect for Paige.

She has such a bubbly joy about her!

I kept telling her that we need to contact her sweater manufacturer and let them know we have new advertising material for them.  Such a beautiful model.

Our final location was up the highway toward Idyllwild, and she rocked this too!

Of course we needed one ON the highway as well…

Okay Miss Paige, if you ever decide to do any modeling as a side job to being a physical therapist, I won’t be surprised if I see you in a magazine one day… :)

Thanks so much for allowing me the pleasure of being the photographer for your Senior Portraits, Paige.  You are truly beautiful inside and out – keep allowing the Lord to shine!

See you soon to show you the rest!

When Time Stood Still: True Joy in Pure Love {Fallbrook Wedding Portraits}

Last month I had the amazing opportunity to capture memories of Shaun & Alissa‘s gorgeous Wedding Day.  From working with a great photography team to loving the light at a beautiful location (Los Willows) to cherishing time with friends and family, it was a day to remember!

Thank so much Kimberly Loya and Karlee Meyer, my second shooters for the day – I couldn’t have done it without you two and felt so much better knowing the physical limitations I had because of my pregnancy would not hinder the photographing of this extra special day!

Now, on to the images and some extra-special parts of the wedding.

Lush, vibrant details from the day… Alissa did such a beautiful job picking out colors!

A very confused flower girl’s escort as the ceremony began… “I don’t think she was supposed to dump all the petals in one spot like that… Is it my job to fix it?”  [stands there awkwardly for the next 20 seconds] … Shaun then came down the aisle very graciously to relieve him of his petal-spreading duties :) .

Thank you all…

Thanks SO very much to all my clients who’ve been so very patient through the last month and a half…  There has been so much going on in our lives with our little girl Ellie (due this October) as well as with my husband Josh gone 6 days a week, working 12 hours a day, in a remote place 7 hours away with no cell service.   Ellie is strong despite the potential issues she may have, and we’ll be well taken care-of at Loma Linda when the time comes.  Our high-energy boys (ages 3 & 4) are having a rough time dealing with Daddy being away; and since I’ve had to go to more doctors appts than usual, I’ve tried to limit my work time away from them to maintain some consistency.  When I do have to be away, I am so very grateful for the help we receive from family and friends.  What would we do without you all?  At the same time, I try not to overdo it with Ellie inside, but also try to keep us busy so the time passes more quickly.  It’s such a balancing act right now.

A snapshot of the family before Josh left for the Bishop job:

Through it all, I haven’t (and couldn’t!) forget about any of you, and I deeply appreciate the understanding you’ve shown during this time.  I’ve been through everyone’s images and can’t wait to show you all the life and beauty I’ve seen in each of you – from seniors to couples to families.  It’s been hard for me to have your images here and not be able to show them all to you yet, as I’m sure it’s been hard for you to eagerly await seeing how they turned out.

Thanks again, and I’ll be in touch with each of you just as soon as I can,

Andrea

Precious Treasure in a Tiny Package {Menifee Newborn Portraiture}

I’d like to introduce to the world a beautiful little pearl, Elizabeth Grace.  Her mother and father are good friends of ours, and I was so honored to create newborn portraits of her when sweet Lizzie was still so new.

Isn’t she the sweetest little girl you’ve ever seen?!

This one would look great as a gallery-wrapped canvas too – in fact, I think I’ll put one up in my new gallery if we move :) .  I love her soft, tiny features and the way she’s all curled up and cuddly.

Here she is again, all wide-eyed and full of wonder.

But of course even sweet little ones have some “I’m NOT happy!” moments…

And then, after a bit, they drift back off, not a care in the world.

Jeremy and Anne, the two of you have a precious daughter.  Thank you so much for inviting me in to capture this amazing time in your lives.  She’ll only be this little for such a short time – cherish, love, and remember always!

Enjoying Family {Fresno County Family Portraits}

It is such a treat to create with families who sincerely enjoy each other – I can always tell by the amount of genuine laughter they share.  The Doswalds are just such a family – warm, hospitable, open, with love for each other and love for life.

We’ll have to make this a yearly session, as I’m sure the numbers will change over time!  ;)

Father and son…  Mom has wanted this portrait done for ages, I hear!

What a blessing you all are to each other… Enjoy your sneak peek, and I can’t wait to talk with you soon!  :)

Beautiful E-Love {San Joaquin Valley Wedding Photographer}

E-Love… It started out for Josh & Amanda as E-lectronic (thanks E-Harmony!), but blossomed into Everlasting wedded bliss!  Here is the long-awaited sneak peek of their beautiful orchard wedding in Central California…

It has been such a blessing getting to know this special Bride & Groom over the last few months.  When I met with them in February for our Consultation in Fresno, I could tell from the start that they had something special – the way they laughed together, the way they glanced the other’s direction before answering questions and sharing stories, I could just tell they were head-over-heels in love!  This would be a wedding full of their love.

Isn’t she an absolutely gorgeous bride?!

I love bringing other photographers along with me to help document even more moments.  My second shooters, Jeff and Jennifer Brannan, did an awesome job capturing the fun and beauty of the day.  Here’s a collage of the handsome Josh with his men from J&J’s work:

The ceremony was held outdoors with the sun kissing each participant through beautiful trees.

When it came time for dancing, a set of the B&G’s grandparents came up to the dance floor.  They were so sweet to one another, holding each other so tenderly.  As the newly married couple danced next to the couple with years and stories to show for their lives together, I just couldn’t help but well up with emotion, thanking God for His gifts of love and companionship.

And don’t forget the fun!!  (image below care of J&J)

It was a perfect day.

Mr. and Mrs. E :) , thank you so very much for the privilege of sharing in your day with you and the friends and family who love you.  I can’t wait to show you the rest of your images.  May your life together be blessed and a blessing for years and years to come!

Puppy Love that Lasts… {San Jacinto Anniversary Mini-Session}

A couple of weeks ago Nick and Kaleigh joined me in studio for a Mini-Session to commemorate their 1-yr Wedding Anniversary – Congratulations again you two!  They were both really sweet as they explained how they met so young – just like my husband and I did.  What a beautiful couple and a beautiful road you have ahead of you!

Doesn’t that color green just look gorgeous on them?!

And this… is N&K’s Rugby.  Part of the family, of course!

Don’t let his adorable face fool you – he’s actually a wild beast!  hehe

Not really.  He’s just as cute and cuddly as he looks.

Thank you both for the privilege of capturing this precious time in your lives and marriage.  I’ll be in touch to schedule your View & Order Session and show you the rest.  May the Lord bless you as you seek Him together in the years to come!!

Family Love – Spring Mini-Sessions {San Jacinto Custom Family Portraiture}

I was so blessed to meet the Early family for a fun Mini-Session – loving grandparents spending the evening with their four precious grandchildren.

Little man and his baby brother have the most gorgeous blue eyes, along with some spunk of course!

The boys with Grandpa and Grandma.  It was so sweet to see how they all adore one another.

The older two kiddos were ready to hike to the tops of the hills!  I can tell they have so much fun together.  What a precious age!

This image would make such a perfect gallery-wrapped canvas… I think I may get one and hang it up in my gallery just to give me a little happiness inspiration every once in a while :) .

OK, I’m going to get a little emotional now… I just can’t help it!  I love this image.  It reminds me of how truly beautiful children are.  The look of sheer, innocent joy on their faces just melts my heart.  Thanks be to God for giving us windows into His purity through the eyes of young ones!

And thanks to the Early family for lending me your time together to capture some of the love you share.  I look forward to meeting with you!
