A couple of weeks ago Nick and Kaleigh joined me in studio for a Mini-Session to commemorate their 1-yr Wedding Anniversary – Congratulations again you two!  They were both really sweet as they explained how they met so young – just like my husband and I did.  What a beautiful couple and a beautiful road you have ahead of you!

Doesn’t that color green just look gorgeous on them?!

And this… is N&K’s Rugby.  Part of the family, of course!

Don’t let his adorable face fool you – he’s actually a wild beast!  hehe

Not really.  He’s just as cute and cuddly as he looks.

Thank you both for the privilege of capturing this precious time in your lives and marriage.  I’ll be in touch to schedule your View & Order Session and show you the rest.  May the Lord bless you as you seek Him together in the years to come!!

When Time Stood Still Signature Products {Gallery-Wrapped Canvases}

In my last post, I mentioned how an image of those adorable kids would look great as a canvas – here’s a sample of how the image would wrap:

How precious this would be in a set up on the wall!

Family Love – Spring Mini-Sessions {San Jacinto Custom Family Portraiture}

I was so blessed to meet the Early family for a fun Mini-Session – loving grandparents spending the evening with their four precious grandchildren.

Little man and his baby brother have the most gorgeous blue eyes, along with some spunk of course!

The boys with Grandpa and Grandma.  It was so sweet to see how they all adore one another.

The older two kiddos were ready to hike to the tops of the hills!  I can tell they have so much fun together.  What a precious age!

This image would make such a perfect gallery-wrapped canvas… I think I may get one and hang it up in my gallery just to give me a little happiness inspiration every once in a while :) .

OK, I’m going to get a little emotional now… I just can’t help it!  I love this image.  It reminds me of how truly beautiful children are.  The look of sheer, innocent joy on their faces just melts my heart.  Thanks be to God for giving us windows into His purity through the eyes of young ones!

And thanks to the Early family for lending me your time together to capture some of the love you share.  I look forward to meeting with you!

Families Together – Spring Mini-Sessions {San Jacinto Family Portrait Photographer}

Last week, I had so much fun meeting with the Millen and Flint families out in the grassy hills of San Jacinto.  We were blessed with beautiful weather and special times together for this set of Mini-Sessions.  I so enjoy capturing love and laughter among parents and children, couples, grandparents and grandchildren… What an inspiration of God’s love for us all!

Chris and Lisa’s family was first up, and they were so sweet to watch.

I just love the way they look at each other – such joy and admiration in her eyes, and such strength and affection in his.

Their younger daughter is beautiful and strong, planning on entering the military – I know she’ll do well!

Their older daughter also possesses a beautiful quiet strength, and she and her husband seem a perfect blend.

And here is their little lady, full of spunk and smiles and fun!

Special times with Daddy and Mommy…

Next was Chance and Michelle’s family – what a fun bundle of activity!

I started teasing the kids that we were going to have to make a pact to hold still for more than two seconds at a time, and eventually, we did  :) .

All of these images shot in the grass would look so amazing as Gallery-Wrapped Canvases.

 Aren’t they a gorgeous couple?!

Here are some individual portraits of the kids… It still amazes me how kids all from the same family and environment can have such very unique personalities from one another – our boys constantly remind me of this too… each different and each special, each God-given gifts to our family and the world!

And a bit of added fun:

Thank you so much, Millen and Flint families, for allowing me the privilege of sharing in this time with you.

I can’t wait to show you your images at our View & Order Sessions!

Love for Life {Riverside Custom Engagement Portraits}

I am so blessed to have met my incredible husband when I was just 14.  (This year is our 10-yr Wedding Anniversary!!  Love you more than ever, honey!)  Soon after we first met, Josh introduced me to his family, and I couldn’t help but fall in love with them all.

Alissa was just seven at the time – a sweet, fun girl who enjoyed life and laughter.   Through the years, we’ve been so privileged to see her grow into a beautiful woman who still makes time for joy.  And now, she’s found Shaun, the man who will partner with her, who will share his joys with her, and share in her laughter for the rest of their lives.

Liss and Shaun, it is such a privilege to be a part of this amazing time in your lives, watching how God has and will bless the two of you as you seek Him together.  Thank you for allowing me to capture who you are!  We love you both dearly.

They are so sweet together…

How’s that for whimsical, Liss?  ;)

Anyone who knows Alissa knows that she almost NEVER goes ANYWHERE unless in heels of some sort…

And anyone who knows Shaun knows he’s a DIE HARD Angels fan!

(Not really sure how the high heels/Angels combo will work itself out in your eventual kids’ tastes… haha!)

Again, we love you both and pray your lives together will be full to overflowing with love, laughter, and unity!
