It really is true that you can see love in a person’s eyes, so capturing it on digital “film” is such a privilege. And it’s so much fun when love expresses itself in overflowing joy!!

Just had to add another from Marissa’s shoot – doesn’t she belong in a magazine?! I think most people are nervous at the beginning of a shoot because they’re not sure what to expect, and because most people don’t really like having their picture taken in the first place. Thanks Marissa for trusting me with this and “working it” for the camera – go girl!

Saturday I had the privilege of taking Marissa’s Senior Portraits. We had a great time walking and talking and laughing together in downtown Riverside. Here’s a sneak peek – I can’t wait to show you the rest! Thanks again Marissa, for a lovely afternoon and thanks Michelle for the wonderful dinner!
There are times when only a photograph can speak the words I wish to express. I guess that’s one of the many things I love about being a photographer. The beauty I am privileged to see, the emotions that run deep, the way I am inspired by life and the world… These are all things I can share through the images I capture, and I am truly grateful.
